Avanti United F.C. Players have many outstanding opportunities to play soccer at the highest competitive level and to travel. These opportunities carry with them responsibility, maturity and self-discipline.
Each player must agree to adhere to the Player Code of Conduct stated below in order to participate on an Avanti United F.C. team.
As a player for Avanti United F.C. you are a representative for our club and a role model for our club’s younger players.

I agree to the following expectations for:

Behavior:
I will exemplify the highest standards of behavior wherever I am, recognizing that I am a representative of Avanti United F.C. I will refrain from any use of alcoholic beverages, drugs, tobacco or any other harmful or illegal substances. I will refrain from language that is offensive or inappropriate for a player of Avanti United F.C. I will put forth my best effort in maintaining grades at the highest level possible. I will treat my teammates, coaches, managers & chaperones with respect.

Team Functions:
Players are expected to participate in all team functions, including team fundraisers. Players will appear at games, home, away & tournaments wearing team warm up top. Players will attend all training and matches and be at meeting destination, on time, unless prior approval & arrangements have been made with your coach(s) & team manager.

Travel:
I agree to use common sense on trips including following the instructions of coaches, manager & chaperones. I will appear at games, home, away & tournaments wearing my team warm up top. There will be no one-on-one (boy/girl) situations at any time during travel (group settings in public only). I will honor all predetermined curfew times. I will always notify the manager or designated chaperone of my whereabouts & be 100% contactable at all times.

Consequences:
I understand and agree that any infraction of the above applicable rules will result in a range of consequences (depending on the severity of the infraction), including, but not limited to, loss of playing time, game suspension, assignment to community service, and/or removal from Avanti United F.C. The coaching staff and the team management will determine the consequences.

The following information and Parent Code of Conduct on page two is intended to establish our mutual expectations and avoid any disputes that may arise during the season.​​​​​​​

Sponsor Support:
All AUFC players are encouraged to support all club sponsors.

AUFC Practice Schedule Expectations for the Year:
Senior (U15 – U18) teams are expected to train 2 times per week July – December.
Juniors (U11 – U14) teams are expected to train 2 times per week July – November.

Parent Code of Conduct:
AUFC strives to create champions both on & off the field. We believe that it is the duty of every member of the club, including our coaching staff, to create the most positive environment possible for all players when participating in any AUFC function, including training sessions and games.
By parents adhering to the following Code of Conduct, we believe that it will assist our players in their development as both soccer players and productive, responsible young men.

Therefore, the undersigned parent agrees:
1. To abide by AUFC's Bylaws, published policies and procedures.
2. To refrain from teaching players unsafe or unsportsmanlike conduct.
3. To accept the decisions of the referee, no matter how unfair they may seem. The undersigned acknowledges and agrees that AUFC will not tolerate the verbal or physical abuse of referees and constitutes grounds for immediate termination as a member of AUFC.
4. To provide all players with a positive and safe learning environment that encourages respect for all.
5. To support the goals & objectives of the coaching staff.
6. To support the player’s participation by being on time for all training sessions & games, providing the necessary transportation to and from AUFC activities and being fiscally responsible to pay team expenses.

I understand and agree that any violation of this code of conduct may result in a range of consequences (depending on the severity of the infraction), including, but not limited to permanent loss of club membership in AUFC. Such consequences shall be determined by the club’s coaching staff.
